Stewart McArthur
Stewart created Mecmar Driers and has been the sole importer in Britain and Ireland for Mecmar S.p.A. since 1999. He has subsequently worked with Mecmar S.p.A. across Europe particularly in the Baltic States and Scandinavia.
Stewart has over 25 years of experience working in the grain drier industry and has developed an unparalleled level of technical understanding. His practical experience of grain driers comes from many years of using them on his own farm.
Giovanni Marcolongo
Giovanni is the Managing Director of Mecmar S.p.A. and designed the first ever Mecmar mobile grain drier in 1982. He has continued to be the most innovative engineer designing mobile grain driers in Europe. Constantly improving the Mecmar driers performance, reliability and durability.
John McArthur
John joined Mecmar Driers as General Manager in May 2010. Having grown up working intermittently for Mecmar Driers over several years. He completed a Masters in Civil Engineering and went on to be a project consultant in the Scandinavian engineering design consultancy Ramboll. View John’s LinkedIn profile here.
Scott McArthur
Scott started at Mecmar Driers in January 2011, although he has been closely involved with Mecmar Driers for the past five years. He has a Masters in Civil Engineering and has worked as a project manager on large-scale electro-mechanical engineering projects for Amco.
